Formal wear for girls can be sari, business suit (lady trousers.....I think the one made of Lycra+shirt).....one can even add a blazer to complete "the look" ! Of course, that's usually not reqd.
Mind you, there are very few occasions when formals would be reqd. for BOTH the sexes. Mostly, it'd be casuals tht u'd be wearing & coming.
However, once ur summers process starts, u'd have to keep on wearing formals & coming (assuming u r planning to sit for an interview or have been short-listed for one) in it, till u get selected. Once done, U all can revert to ur casuals....and wear formals only for highly select occassions.
In fact, my cousin, when he saw me in my attrie thought that i belonged to near-by Mithibai college (which is supposed to be 1 of the hippest Commerce college) instead of a B-School
