I had a small discussion with Aniruddha regarding a few things and as suggested by him, am posting it all here.
As for the laptops, there is no doubt that NM deal surely is incomparable i.e. the same config when had from outside will be costlier. But as for the gaming freaks(like me
) who find that config a way too constrained and lower end can think of getting a laptop from abroad. As told to me by Aniruddha, Singapore is one of the best places to get a Dell (he told me he had the best lappy on the campus...a Dell Lattitude for just about 50K...that is two years back). In addition, one has to get an International Warranty with the same..that will be required to get the service here inIndia itself.
For long i had the notions(influenced by various sources) that there is a certain preference a particular company makes between work-ex guys and freshers(i always had this concern as i am a fresher myself) albeit..a FMCG company preferring freshers more or a Finance player looking for workex guys. But actually the only difference comes between lateral placements and normal placements where the same company gives a level higher to a guy with a workex of 22+ months. So now, i am pretty much cleared about this.(and moreover...it doesnt even matters).
I hope above info helps some of us to clear some notions,queries or decisions over laptops.a
