By "Global placements", if u meant international placements for Core MBA programme (remembeter, there is a separate sectoral MBA program called Global Business mngmnt which also exists, abt. which i have no idea) then the answer is -> Yes ! It does happen :-)
However, this phenomenon is a recent phenomenon. The 1st intnl. placement was in OUR super seniors' batch. In OUR seniors' batch, there were 3 intnl. placements (if i'm not wrong).....hopefully, the trend should be going upward for us as well as u guys. In fact, from our batch onwards, intnl. placements for Summers have also started. 1 of my batch mates has gone to London for his Summers.
As expected, u REALLY need to be qualified, to grab these offers.

International Placements, both summers and finals, have happened in our batch.
By qualified Deven would've probably meant having certifications or relevant experience or some other special requirement.
