Trim - I Books
I have already given the names of coupla books in teh thread previously. They are the imp. ones. Rest all, don't worry......u'd get them at cheap/reasonable prices here. Just come & relax & enjoy Mumbai for the time that u can.

Sports Places
Mumbai, in general, is a land-starved city. Hence, expecting open playing areas is expecting too much. U can get a good idea abt. that, after seieng our "campus", which can be covered from end-to-end in a matter of few moments.

Having said all this, however, our college does org. sports meets in the grounds of other schools & colleges that are owned by SVKM. Else, u can even try the beach.....its pretty close by & u guys are gonna have fun !!!

Medical Insurance
This is a new thing that has been introduced.....told u in 1 of my earlier messages in this thread that the Mandal has a strange way of introducing new rules & regulations everytime, rite ? We didn't have the ins. thing during our time.

I personally have a medical ins. & 'am gonna get a copy of that. U guys are welcome to choose whichever option suits you best.

Ironing of Clothes
You guys are elcome to get ur own ironing machines. However, at least at GR Jani, u do have an almost regular dhobi.....the dude's pretty good at his job, though, sometimes, he plays truant by not coming for days. But he stays near-by only & hence u guys can go & get ur clothes from him in case of an emergency.

Flooding situation near college
Vile Parle area, in general, is a low-lying area. Hence, water-logging is common-place during monssons. However, its not even that bad. It only becomes bad when there is above-normal rain.....which happens at least 4-5 times during the entire 4 month monsoon period. Under such circumstances, our lib. is the first area that gets affected, as its in the basement area. The classes are not affected that much. U guys are gonna survive. Chill !
