Party Scene at NM & around

Don't worry guys ! MBA is not only abt. studies....its about parties too  .....especially so, if u r at NM. U guys are gonna have ur freshers party this year....and our farewell party next year. Then, u have the cultural fests too.

As for the scene around Mumbai,well junta, Mumbai is the party capital of India & U R in the party capital of the party capital of india Now-a-days, the scene has shifted from south bombay to the western suburbs of Bandra, Khar & Juhu. There are pubs & discotheques dotting the landscape here....in fact, J W Marriott (which has the famous "Enigma" discotheque in it) is just a 10 min. drive from the college. This is the same place where film stars etc. come for partying & Mallika sherawat had performed in her skimpy diamond dress on new years' eve last, which had apparently generated loadsa controversy ! U guys have to see the roads in our area, ESP. in front of JWM on weekends. its choc-a-bloc. For heavens sake, u actually have traffic jams in front of JWM at 2 am in the morning on saturdays !!! While studying behind the library, I personally never felt "alone", as u always see acivities on the road, with cars zipping past as if it were 6pm !

BUT there is a rider guys:-
a) These party places are DAMN expensive. On weekdays itself, the entry charges hover around 500-600 bucks. Weekends, it almost doubles.
b) The scene is pretty bad for single guys. Most of these discs wouldn't mind having an all-gals gang coming in. In fact there are spl. "girls' nites" too [ which can become pretty wild  ...ladies, let ur imaginations run wild ] in these pubs. But stags are not allowed.....or are allowed after paying thru' the nose. Weekends to stags are not allowed only. So only if u get free passes or have loads of money, can u afford these places. For an avg. hostelite, these are just "once-in-a-bluemoon" kinda events. Don't worry, once u guys start earning after graduating from NM, u mite own one of these pubs as well  But until then,keep ur heads on ur shoulders !
