Yes ! The reading room is open 24 hrs. a day. As for books, well, if u wanna issue them (2 books max), u can do that & sit with them in the reading room for as long as u want. However, if U just borrow them for reference sake, then u have to return it to the library within 3 hrs.....with the max. limit being 9pm. At a time, only 1 book would be provided for reference.
If u get a book from outside also, u can just sit & read it in the reading room for as long as u want.

No! The reading room is not open 24 hrs. a day any longer. Due to some freak incident that occurred the library is open only till around midnight.
